Bienvenue aux étudiants 2026

Welcome to the 2026 students!

Grenoble Alpes welcomes nearly 63,000 students each year, representing more than 180 different nationalities. This year, Grenoble ranked as the 6th best student city in France. Nestled in the heart of the Alpine mountains, Grenoble offers an exceptional living environment, vibrant neighbourhoods, a world-class innovation ecosystem, and a wide range of cultural, sports, and social activities. After being awarded the title of European Green Capital in 2022, Grenoble was named European Capital of Innovation in 2026, confirming its strong commitment to ecological transitions, research, and creativity.

Grenoble Alpes Métropole welcomes its new students by offering free tickets and the opportunity to enjoy unique local experiences and share them with others.
