Grenoble Alpes Métropole welcomes its new students by offering free tickets and the opportunity to enjoy unique local experiences and share them with others. These offers are open to all students—newcomers eager to explore the area as well as long-time residents who want to rediscover their territory.
With more than 5,000 registered students from over 80 countries, “Bienvenue aux Étudiants Grenoble Alpes” has been a real success. The programme has allowed participants to discover the region through a wide variety of experiences:

Join us for an exceptional evening at MC2, France’s largest national performing arts venue, for a concert by the Wiener Concert-Verein orchestra. Accompanied by prodigy violinist Timothy Chooi, the musicians will perform nature-inspired masterpieces, including Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons. Your access will be valid from May 24 to August 30, as well as during the first two weekends of September, and tickets must be collected between May 15 and June 25.

Who can participate?“Bienvenue aux étudiants Grenoble Alpes” is open to all students enrolled in a higher education establishment in the metropolitan area, on presentation of a certificate of enrolment for the 2025/2026 academic year. In case of high demand, some places will be reserved for students in their first year of higher education, as well as for new international mobility students from these establishments.
