Grenoble Alpes, a collective brand to expand your mind launched at the MIPIM exhibition from March 12th to 15th 2019
On the occasion of MIPIM 2019, international exhibition for real estate professionals to be held in Cannes from March 12th to 15th, 2019, the public and private partners of the Grenoble region will present the new territory brand “Grenoble Alpes”, a collective approach, a common banner to promote Grenoble and its territory, which is constantly illustrated by its innovative and pioneering projects in the field of energy, ecological and social transition.
For this 30th edition of MIPIM, ten partners will share the Grenoble Alpes booth: Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, Le Grésivaudan Urban Community, the Municipality of Chamrousse, Les 7 Laux ski resort, Crédit Agricole Sud-Rhône-Alpes, Elegia, Innovia Durablement, Group 6, Goupe Hermes and KRey-InvestImmo Group.
Four flagship projects presented at MIPIM 2019
- 1 // The environmentally-friendly Grenoble Presqu'ile is developed on 265 hectares, around the innovation campus Grenoble Innovation for Advanced New Technologies (GIANT) and combines energy performance, academic and scientific dynamism, businesses and quality of life. In 2023, an urban cable car will travel over the Drac and Isère rivers to connect Grenoble Presqu'ile and Les Portes du Vercors, a mixed business - housing territory of 95 hectares, with a gold prize in urban planning, delivered by the Ministries of the Environment and Urban planning.
- 2 // Grenoble's excellence in health, medtech and digital technologies is concentrated in the North-East of the city, with interactions between public and private research laboratories, leading companies and the university campus. Around the hospital, an ambitious Medtech City project will offer a zone dedicated to health companies and medical technologies near HQE housing. And the requalification of the Inovallée industrial estate will reinforce the attractiveness of this digital hot-spot.
- 3 // 30 minutes from Grenoble, “ Chamrousse Connected Moutain Park Resort " , The project of renewal of the historic 1968 Olympic Games ski resort, will soon become a complete 4-season resort, mixing leisure, business visits, health and well-being tourism... and will become a 100% green and connected ski-resort with a Smart Grid energy multi-fluid for a negative carbon footprint.
- 4 // By 2025, the renewal project of the South of the greater Grenoble urban area will be launched. The development of this area will mix excellent accessibility with the redevelopment of the A480 highway, the development of business parks reserved to productive activities and industries, new residential neighbourhoods, commercial and recreational areas.
